About TEDI

Research-informed thinking. Practical organisational change.

TEDI Consultancy Ltd was established to bridge the gap between research, policy and everyday organisational practice. We draw on experience in education, career development, EDI, organisational leadership and inclusive practice.

Our purpose, mission and vision

Our purpose

To move organisations beyond good intentions, ensuring equity and inclusion shape decisions, practices and organisational culture.

Our mission

To equip organisations with the insight, strategies and practical tools to challenge systemic barriers, embed inclusive practices and create lasting, measurable change.

Our vision

A future where equity and inclusion are embedded into the systems, cultures and decisions that shape people’s opportunities.

The TEDI Framework

Transformative Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion

A practical, grounded framework for meaningful change. Designed with real-world settings in mind, TEDI helps embed equity into practice, policies and everyday decisions. It is built around four interlocking pillars that support a cycle of reflection, action and accountability.

Introduced in Equity, Diversity and Inclusion in Career Development: A Practical Handbook (2025). Each TEDI engagement is shaped around your organisation’s context, drawing on the framework where it is the right fit.

  1. Transformative assessment

You can’t fix what you haven’t fully seen.

Critically assessing where you are now – asking the hard questions, gathering honest feedback and looking beneath surface-level representation, so change is rooted in reality, not assumption.

KEY TOOLS · Audits, surveys, lived experience data, deep listening

  2. Equitable initiatives

    Equity requires intention.

Developing and implementing initiatives that actively centre equity, co-created with the people most affected – from inclusive recruitment to anti-discrimination policy.

KEY TOOLS · Stakeholder engagement, safe spaces, inclusive policy development, leadership representation

  3. Diversifying the culture

Culture isn’t static – it can be shaped.

Fostering an environment where all identities are respected, all contributions are valued and everyone feels they belong – embedding diversity into the culture itself, beyond token gestures.

KEY TOOLS · Training, reflective leadership, mentoring, dismantling exclusionary norms

  4. Inclusive practices

    Equity in action.

Making inclusion tangible by designing systems that work for the people they are meant to serve – especially those traditionally excluded – with accessibility, adaptability and reflection built in.

KEY TOOLS · Inclusive communications, flexible processes, reflective audits, accountability structures
